Aerial Pole is a hanging pole, similar to a floor mounted pole and utilized in a similar way, but rigged in the air.
In this class, we will take a deep dive into the technique, conditioning (on/off pole), and progressions to work towards strong and safe deadlifts and flags on an aerial pole. This course is designed for intermediate aerialists that already have a strong ayesha on regular or flying pole that want to take their skills to the next level. Participants will be assessed for level and given drills and variations based on their assessment.
Who is this for?
Intermediate level students with some experience and solid foundation in aerial pole. Students should be progressing in skills and sequences on this apparatus.
Pre-requisites:
Straddle inversions, leg hands, climbing, sits and spin control.
Coach notes:
Please bring a sleeveless shirt, shorts and leggings to all classes.
