RE(ACT) is BACK for round 3
Do splits really always get claps? Does the audience realize how hard this trick is and like it? Is it worth the effort I’m putting in to it? What emotion am I portraying and does the AUDIENCE feel it? Does anyone understand the story behind this act? Or IS IT JUST ME??
Are you asking yourself these questions about a new act you’re putting together and wish you could just ask the audience? Well guess what, we’re going to do that for you! Circus Re(Act) is a night of circus artists displaying their new act for an audience that is ready to give you feedback, ask questions and gets answers to yours!
What to expect
After you perform your act, the audience will provide constructive POSITIVE feedback for you via an online link. You will receive a copy of the feedback and you will also get the chance to speak to the audience after the full show so that you can ask them questions about your act.
Want to perform in Circus Re(ACT)?
We will select 5 professional artists and 1 up and coming artist. Submit your new act and come get those questions answered!
To submit, email info@infothecircusfix-ca with subject line: RE(ACT) SUBMISSION and the following info:
- Performer Name
- Act Name
- Apparatus
- Length of act
- Small description of act
- Videos of act (if you have one) or rehearsal videos for act
SUBMISSIONS CLOSE Feb 15th!
*Performers will get two edited professional pictures of their choice (with the option to purchase more), a full video of their act and all of the audience reactions!
Cost if selected: $35
Date and Location:
Saturday March 28th. Doors at 7pm / Show at 7:30pm
Performance expected to be done at 8:30/9pm
