Acro and tumbling are ground-based circus disciplines that focus on strength, balance, coordination, and dynamic movement. Acro (short for acrobatics) includes partner work, lifts, balances, and transitions, often emphasizing trust and teamwork. Tumbling involves solo movements like rolls, cartwheels, and handsprings, building agility and control. Together, they form a high-energy foundation for many circus arts, helping performers develop the body awareness and power needed for both floor and aerial work.
