An aerial hammock (also known as a sling) is a versatile circus apparatus made from a loop of aerial fabric suspended from a single or double point. It combines elements of aerial silks and aerial hoop, allowing performers to explore dynamic skills, elegant poses, drops, and spinning sequences. In circus arts, the hammock offers both dramatic performance potential and accessible entry-level aerial work, making it popular for its fluidity, support, and creative movement possibilities.
